Playtron has announced the launch of Game Dollar, a gaming-focused stablecoin designed to enhance commerce and rewards within gaming ecosystems. The stablecoin will be built on the SUI Network, leveraging its scalability and efficiency for seamless integration with Playtron’s GameOS and other gaming platforms. Infrastructure support will be provided by M0’s universal platform and Bridge’s payment APIs.
The initial release will be exclusive to the Sui Network, with compatibility for the SuiPlay0X1 handheld console. This strategic move aims to bring blockchain technology into mainstream gaming economies, utilizing stablecoin efficiency for marketplace transactions and player incentives.
